Hello and welcome back! I can’t believe that’s been 5 days since the start of this tour, thank you so much for sticking with it. Today’s track is called “It Always Tends to End this Way”, and is the most recent song that I wrote for this debut EP.
Sometimes when practicing or improvising, a riff can appear out of nowhere and is just too good to ignore! That was the case with the intro riff for this song, the rest just kind of fell into place around it. For the lyrics I kept things quite light in rhetoric, talking about things like substance abuse, self destructive & narcissistic behaviour etc. You know all the things kids are into nowadays…
